Alternate Access offers a full range of phone system alternatives for small businesses and our consulting services are in place to help our customers determine if their needs are best served by a hosted phone system, hybrid-hosted phone system or premise-based phone system.
A hybrid-hosted phone system combines the benefits of a premise-based solution and hosted IP phone system to provide the ultimate in flexibility and reliability. Critical phone system data is securely stored at hardened data centers - ensuring that in the event a customer's phone system experiences an outage or is damaged, business will be up and running within one hour of rebooting the system or receiving new equipment.
Offering many of the features of a premise-based system, the hybrid-hosted appliance uses telephony interface boards or gateways to connect to legacy PSTN trunks, yielding high quality audio quality and reliability.
The system is also proactively monitored and maintained. Support contracts enable technicians to provide real-time updates and receive system alerts about the critical system components so that problems can be corrected before their impacts are felt.
If a system is damaged, a replacement appliance is cross-shipped to remedy the issue. Software upgrades are also completed automatically and during non-business hours. Advanced features and call privacy round out the premise-based benefits.
Like a hosted solution, users can place free VoIP calls between offices; make moves, adds and changes from any PC connected to the internet, using the Web-based Control Panel; and monitor call flow and efficiency via reporting tools. Companies can also seamlessly connect telecommuters and branch office locations with no configuration required.
Hosted Solutions can simplify certain applications by having the mission critical equipment housed at other locations. Hosting facilities boast clean power with diesel generator power backup located in a secure facility. In addition, they offer Internet connections that are managed to maximum speed and minimum latency. Alternate Access offers hosted systems and applications for IP PBX, FAX, Unified Messaging, back-up utilities and more. These hosted solutions allow companies to have a low cost of entry, and low cost of maintenance, yet offer customers immediate benefits of improved worker productivity and management control.
Protect your data with regular, automatic backups. eFolder backup service is priced based on the amount of data to be backed up. The system encrypts data and houses it in a hardened facility in Atlanta, GA with backup facilities across the country. The system has an easy to use interface that allows users to point and click on any file in the computer network. eFolder starts with a complete system backup. Once that is completed, differential backups are done at customer designated intervals. In the event the data needs to be restored, the end user can download data, or if massive amounts of data need to be recovered, that data is sent on CD's or Hard Disk Drives via same day delivery.
